Week of Love for Nature, Heritage, Water and the Environment 2007
Updated: 13/03/2007

The 2007 Week of Love for Nature, Heritage, Water and the Environment will take place during a ten day period from Friday, March 9, 2007 to Sunday, March 18, 2007.

Israel's Nature and Parks Authority invites the general public to enjoy a wide variety of activities and events in nature reserves and national parks throughout the country. Events include seminars and guided tours in nature and heritage sites as well as ceremonies marking the inscription of World Heritage Sites in the Incense Route - Desert Cities of the Negev of Haluza, Mamshit, Avdat and Shivta in the Negev (March 12, 2007) and the Biblical Tels of Hazor, Megiddo and Beersheba (on March 15, 2007).

The wide variety of activities offered during this year's event is meant to increase public awareness about the nature, water and heritage protection in Israel. Detailed information on tours appears in Hebrew on the Nature and Parks Authority website.
